So I take a flathead screw driver, wedge in the banjo, and tweak the banjo until it lines up right and you can get the bolt started. Don't feel bad as this is honestly the second hardest part of the turbo install.

- Jun 25, 2010 · For my 2003 Bullet 500 I found out that the oil feed pump feeds the oil filter chamber and after filtering the oil it goes via a canal to the quill bolt and on to the crank. Oil in the bottom of the timing chest does not have contact with the quill bolt. So oil coming out from a loosened quill bolt is in fact a sign of a well functioning feed pump.
